Recently, I visited Philippines. I believe that experiencing different foods is part of visiting a country.
Here, I have tried to sum up 5 foods I tried in Philippines Filipino foods are amazing.
1. Chicken Adobo
Adobo is a Filipino dish which is browned in oil, and simmered in the marinade. It can be made of different meats or even vegetables.
In general, I liked the Adobo but the one I tried was quite salty.

2. Halo-Halo
Halo-Halo means âmixedâ. It is a popular Filipino cold dessert which is a concoction of crushed ice, evaporated milk and various ingredients including, among others, ube, sweetened beans, coconut julienes, sago, gulaman, pinipig rice, boiled root crops in cubes, fruit slices, flan, and topped with a scoop of ice cream.

3. Kwek â Kwek
This is very famous street food. Kwek Kwek or Orange eggs are boiled quail eggs coated with an orange batter and deep-fried until the batter is crispy. This is categorized as a street food and are sold along with fish balls, squid balls, and chicken balls.

4. Chicken Inasal
Chicken inasal, commonly known simply as inasal, is grilled Chicken marinated in a mixture of Calamansi - a Filipino citrus reminiscent of lemon, orange and lime, pepper, coconut vinegar and annatto, then grilled over hot coals while basted with the marinade.

5. Chicken Bistek
Chicken bistek is another variation of the well known traditional beef bistek. In this dish, meat is marinated in soy sauce, calamansi juice and pepper. Bistek, a Tagalog word is similar to Bistec in Spanish which means meat steak.
