@ReemaGandhi Sorry for not replying early :slightly_smiling_face:

I do travel a lot to see these birds. The short travels are mostly during the weekends, but the longer ones are planned a year ahead in time, sometimes even 2 yrs ahead of time.

The travel is predominantly based on the migration pattern of the birds and the location advantage of approach ability. The travels are usually 3-4 days long and sometimes stretch to 8 or 9 days.

There is no gaurentee that we will get to photograph any , its just that we enjoy watching their behavior and peaceful nature.

And yeah, regarding the names we actually have books to identify their names and their distribution patterns. Trust me , that is the only book am reading after my schooling :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi @CoolKriss

What I see here is that it’s quite a hefty endeavor, from observations to planning way ahead & finally photographing the birds!

Since you mentioned ”we”, I’m assuming there’s a group of photographers working together. Is it?

Hi @ReemaGandhi ,

Yes, over a period of time you enfriend few people who share the similar passion. So we tend to travel to birding places together as becomes a little more economical also. :slightly_smiling_face:
