Fettuccine Alfredo

Fettuccine is amazing pasta but people who never tried it should try your going to be drooling when take your first bite.

Hi @user_not_found . Yes, I love fettuccine too - but I usually have Carbonara. What is in Alfredo? Do you make it at home or eat it out? I’d love to see a photo if you have one. Thanks for sharing.

Hi @JustineE , Fettuccine Alfredo is a very simple dish, that was becoming famous in Rome on the mid '20. The recipe (fettuccine with triple butter and Parmigiano cheese) was so appreciated by the actors Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks, that they give to Alfredo a set of gold cutlery.

After that, the recipe was becoming famous worldwide.

Personally, like you, I prefer Carbonara

I nearly tagged you in this post @ErmesT . I knew you would have expert information. I love learning about the history of food Alfredo sounds simple, but delicious. One day I am going to enjoy a carbonara with you in Italy!
