- Hello to all the LG familia.
Today I’m going to share my one of my childhood memory and wanted to pay tribute to my childhood school .
A college of pictures showing al-amir academy captured by @Bilal_shaikh
Our family had just shifted to a new area due to my father’s job and my parents were searching for a school to get my Admission in it. Then we found this majestic place.
TCF feroza hasham campus. Formerly known as “Iqra Al-Amir Academy” and then it was donated to The citizen foundation schooling system for free just for the cause of spreading knowledge.
And it was an honor for me to add this place on Google maps and it’s details.
It was one of the best schools at primary level I’ve encountered ever. The best childhood memories i’ve had were from there. The majestic and state of the art architectural building. It had playground which was vast literally vast like a football field. Assembly area 1 and assembly area 2 were there. It had a mini zoo for children along with Spacious, well ventilated and beautifully built classrooms. Neatness and cleanliness were to priority.
Even the school had an annex which was beautiful itself. a guest house for guests was there.
My first school my alma mater.
And most amazing thing, in our times just 10 years back it had a monthly fees of just RS. 200 which was nothing compared to the tuition fee collected by other institutions and to the quality of education and the facilities provided.
The love, affection and passion to study hard, learn and earn was something that was taught to the young generation by the school besides course studies.
The passion of teaching of the teachers and specially our beloved headmaster & headmistress and giving back to society was and is something which is beyond amazing. They both (Sir Mr. Hashanah Shaikh & Madam Mrs. Feroza Hasham Shaikh) are idols of hundred of students. At the age of 60+ they used to come daily to the school just to quench their thirst for teaching…
Even today whenever any of those students need any kind of help be it financial, moral or educational they both are always welcoming…
Love you sir shaikh. .
Love you madam (baji).
May Allah bless you.
