I was thinking how I even came up with the idea of becoming a Local Guide.
Couple of years ago, when I was exploring google earth, it seemed great to me when I saw the pictures posted by different people. Even then, I wanted to be part of this creation. December 2017 was a turning point in my life, and then I decided to start posting photos on google maps. I started to visit beautiful places and I wanted others to see this beauty through my eyes. I’m especially crazy about deserts so I started publishing pictures of the delicacies that I tasted and good restaurants I visited.
At the beginning, I was just there, and looked over if anyone even look at these my photos. When I noticed that there were more and more views, that people were actually interested in these posts I decided to put even more effort. I can not believe that the picture I made when visiting a good pizzeria in Vrhnika, Slovenija today, March 6, 2019 has 112590 views. That seems so amazing to me. I am proud to be part of this, helping others with the pictures of places they want to see, with opinions that help them. When I got a mail from google to sign up for Connect Live 2019 and become part of this great event, in California, which I wanted always visit, I could not believe it. I’m also looking for new places to visit, I want to know what are others thinking about them and that’s why I find those helpful information, and all I can get on Google. So great.
