Travel around the World is a dream of anyone who loves to explore.
I am that kind of person, who loves to travel a lot. Being a guy from South India, the major hurdle that restricted me from travelling inside my country was the lack of knowledge in Hindi language were majority of people speaks/understand only Hindi in the northern/mid geographical areas (exception cities).
Here started the problem while I traveled to Ahmedabad 7 years before. I faced tough challenge in finding apt hotels, tourist places even good restaurants simply because of lack of Hindi knowledge and only a few understands English in village areas.
But things changed with the arrival of google maps, I can clearly say that I completely depended on google while I traveled to Manali last year, without any hep of a tour operator. I visited the famous Solang Valley, Gulaba, Hadimba Temple, Naggar Castle by simply checking my Mobile phone. Even I found suitable Hotel to stay with the help of Google maps and user comments/ratings.
I am a very lazy person in learning new languages, but that is not going to affect my life anymore. I have google with me and I am proud to say that I am a part of google local guide initiative!
