Hello, world! My name is Fazeel Usmani, a passionate programmer, traveller, foodie and also a photographer who loves to help people inevitably. Basically, I’m from Hyderabad and never miss a chance to explore new places. I’ve been to Saudi Arabia and all the metro cities of India (Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata). Apart from these, I love to make new friends and would like to help others with my Google Map contributions such that there should be no city left in the world which hasn’t received my Map contribution. Thanks for the Local Guides programme and also the Local Guides Connect platform for helping me in achieving my goal.

Why do I care about Google Maps?

Google Maps is helping millions of people all around the world with its amazing features of accessibility, timings, phone, address, pictures, Q & A, shortest path, live traffic or the exact location of a place. As the user’s increases day by day the consistency should also be maintained in parallel such that nobody is suffered. So, I made a promise to myself to spend at least 1% of my time and money in helping people i.e. through my Google Maps contributions.

This year has been really inspiring and lucky for me and others as well. Overall, I hosted 7 meetups and attended 6

Meetups hosted in Hyderabad = 5

Meetups attended in Hyderabad = 6

Meetups hosted away from Hyderabad = 2 (one in Mumbai and other in Nalgonda)

However, in the next month, I’m planning a meetup in Bangalore.

Connect Live 2019 is the best place to meet the most dynamic local guides and amazing Googlers from all over the world. I would like to share my thoughts and ideas in front of all of them.
