Apart from presenting the beauty of the north coast of Java island, Karang Jahe Beach will provide a pleasant experience for you and your family, this beach area is friendly for children, your children can swim on the shore using a leased buoy. You can also rent an ATV for a ride along the beach. For fees, admission and rental tickets are very cheap (under 45 thousand rupiah/person). There are some fishermen who use their boats to transport tourists closer to the sea, it costs is only 15 thousand rupiah. If you feel hungry and thirsty, about 30 meters from the beach there are food and drink vendors (available cold or warm).
Usually the distance from the town square if taken by car is 12 minutes, before heading to Karang Jahe Beach don’t forget to visit the Mangrove Forest Conservation Area, there you and your family can walk through the very shady mangrove forest on a wooden bridge. The tree branches spread out like a roof, making you feel like you are entering a mangrove tunnel. At the end of the bridge there is a gazebo that you can use to rest and take shelter, water hyacinth plants grow on surface of water around gazebo. Visit in the afternoon, because you can see ambiance of twilight sky!
Entrance ticket, buoy rental, ATV rental, all prices are separate. I gave the option under 45 thousand rupiah to pay all of that, because the price could change.
I was there before covid-19, in 2019. Now, the situation in Rembang has entered a safe zone, so it’s been opened. However, visitors must adhere to health protocols.
