The ice shop is full of Chinese culture. It looks like a temple on the outside, and the wooden tables and chairs make it look even more so.
This ice shop is best known for traditional handmade Tofu ice from Tainan.
Tofu tastes a little bit like pudding, and they are made with different flavors, such as almonds, matcha, and milk. You can add whatever topping you want but having a raw egg on top is the traditional way to enjoy it, perhaps it is the best way to have it with which I highly recommended. Although eating raw eggs with shaved ice sounds challenging, you will regret if you don’t try it this way!!
I usually have two servings. First, I order almond tofu, without any topping so that I can enjoy the original flavor, and I will bring it home to share with my family. Second, I will choose tofu flavors, depending on my mood, and then add some toppings, such as lotus seeds, sweet potatoes, herb jelly, longan, sesame. Finally, I’ll pour some condensed milk and add a raw egg on top. You can say the homemade shaved ice represents my mood because I always change the toppings, haha!

Seating: There are plenty of seats. It is recommended to have it with family or friends.
Parking: On street parking for cars, and motorcycles can be parked in front of the store. Both are free.
Tips: Delivery service is available. You can have them deliver it straight home which is really nice.
One of the famous historic temples in Tainan is across the ice shop, and it’s free to enter. You may have a visit after enjoying the shaved ice.
