Fall Hike at Peekskill w/ U30X

Here is the plan: - Catch the 8:43am Metro North train from Grand Central Terminal to Peekskill, NY OR meet us there: https://goo.gl/maps/b33wvrfZN1N2 - We’ll meet at 9:45-10 AM at the Peekskill train station and coordinate rides to the trailhead - Start hiking by 10:30 am - Our route will follow the Camp Smith Trail route - We’ll stop at 2-3 scenic overlooks, as well as lunch at the top - Finish hiking around 2:30pm Around 3:30pm, head to the Peekskill Station to get trains back to Grand Central Terminal (Optional) End the day with group reflection and drinks/eats at Peekskill Brewery with old and new friends Total cost of the trip: - Metro North Train Ride Peak: $28.50 Adult, $14.00 Children. Off-Peak: $21.50 Adult, $11.00 Children - Life memories: priceless What to bring? - October weather can be chilly. Dress in layers. Once we start sweating, it will be easier to take a piece of layer off - Hiking Boots - Lunch and snacks. We will be eating it once we get to the top - Water - at least 1.5L - Bug spray - Camera if you want to take pictures
