Fahmi Adimara Mobile Photography Tips #2 : More Creative With Different Angle

As photographers, we pay attention to small details, side by side positions in everyday life. We use many tools to capture subjects in different ways: using smartphones, mirrorless, also some lens variations, changing camera angles, using long exposures, or very fast ones with editing technique skills.

Sometimes we are fixated on a common angle, like when we visit a place where we often see photos or see landscape photos on the photo gallery website or Google Maps, we want to take pictures with the same angle for our portfolio. Many ways to get a new point of view. Not always eye level angle in photographing the best. Actually, I always try other angles such as low angle, high angle, waist level angle. And for me, landscape photos don’t always have to be landscape / horizontal orientation, you can also try portrait / vertical orientation like i did yesterday before COVID 19 when i visit Sanggar Agung Temple .

Detail

The most enjoyable part of photographing details for me, or photographing photos in general, is finding those small moments in an unconscious world. I hunted it down. I often try to point to the dragon head’s detail section. Without being overly dramatic, I was fascinated to see making clear marks on every detail of the curve on the dragon’s head.

More Creative with Low Angle Portrait

This is called the low angle shooting technique. The low angle technique allows Photography Companions to capture objects the tall ones by positioning the camera under the object. In addition to this pagoda photos, this low angle technique is often used to photograph skyscrapers so that the buildings look tall soaring and look magnificent.

Landscape

Landscape photos are one part or portion of a view seen from a separate point of view. For me, this my best photography when visit some destinations. Scenery is the main subject of a landscape photo.

We must experiment with various angles to practice your composition techniques and over time your instincts will be trained to produce photos not only with good angles, but also different.
