In Oslo, as in other cities in Norway, there is a dialect. In total, there are up to 100 different Norwegian dialects throughout the country. Sometimes even Norwegians cant understand some dialects
Oh, really@lavirk_o, so many dialects! In our country also languages differ across provinces and then within same province dialect varies feom one district to the other, Nice pic, thank you. Keep posting

I’ve traveled a lot in Norway, from the very south, through places like Tromso and Gravdal, and right up to the very top to Nordkapp) and while I cannot speak Norwegian, it’s clear that many speak in different tongues. In fact, I’d go so far as to say it’s worse than the Irish.

Excuse me for my question,but my friend few weeks visited your country and city Oslo,and she saw that a lot of drug addicted people walk around center of the city and do their things just on the street,and police do not reacts. Is it really true?
hi @lavrik_o I see that in Oslo 100+ dialects here’s is same in my country dialects different in every region or states and every states having own dialects amazing facts seems.

Instead of hiding “not normal” sides of our community we are accepting them and trying to solve the problem. We giving a lot of psychological help to the people and our results are better and better. So it might look strange from the side, but we doing all possible to help people in a difficult life situation.
