"Eye to eye" a Natural Lake.

Nainital a world famous hill station situated in Uttrakhand, India we had a Road trip by Car in the October 2019. I and my wife were eager to visit and finally we could say just"Wow" it’s a superb destination. We enjoyed our complete tour including boating of this beautiful Lake and panoramic views of surroundings of Kumaon hills, and also through the ropeway. St John in the Wilderness we spent lots of time and Governor House a wonderful memory it was indeed a walk through the Windsor castle. We enjoyed the reflection of lights on the Surface of Nainital Lake in night as Mall road is the popular attraction. Let me brief a little about Nainital.

P Barron’s discovery during his 2400 kms trekking of Himalaya and according to his memoir “It’s by far the best site he witnessed during his entire Trek”. He was a shugar trader and his investigative tendency could ease the human access to this beautiful Lake which is an eyeshaped Natural Lake. And he constructed first European House which was Pilgrim Lodge. He discovered this beautiful eye shaped Natural lake in 1841 AD. This amazing lake is situated at an altitude of 2084 meters above sea level.

St John in the wilderness was the first building, which was a Church and then numerous lodges and houses were constructed. Soon it has become a favourite health resorts for the British Soldiers. Also it became a favourite spot among the British families to get relief from the heat burn of the plains. It was the Governor’s Summer residence of United Provinces. It’s a very popular and beautiful destination in India. Due to this beautiful Lake.

I am sure, its wavy slopes won’t allow you to leave.
