Exploring the State of Maine

Maine is a pretty large state with a wide variety of natural beauty. I feel lucky to live in a place with so much land to explore. One of our favorite ways to adventure in our own state is to take the road less traveled and see what we find. We often find ourselves on rough dirt roads but wind up in the most beautiful and unique places. On Monday we took to the streets to scope out a random campsite I found just scrolling over the Baxter State Park area. 2 and half hours later, a few miles down a very rough rough, we found ourselves at one of the most peaceful beach campsites I have seen!

Would love to hear and see about your “road less traveled” explorations!
