Exploring surrounding of Kuala Lumpur City Centre

When it came to Kuala Lumpur City Centre, KLCC Twin Tower building is one of the tourist attraction a must go. However, there are some attraction nearby which worth spending time for a walk and photograph.

1. Petaling Street Market.

This is a famous Chinatown where a lot of hawkers stall and shops selling local souvenirs. You can find anything from clothes, shoes, watches, bags and etc here. You can come here anytime from morning till night. There are different batch of shops and foods open at different hours. Saturday will be the most happening day here. Just be careful when you want to buy goods here as there are a lot branded replica and bargain is a must here if you are interested to buy. The seller here often try to knock off tourist with higher price. I usually came here for foods because the price are transparent.

The temple had a very well maintain and beautiful carving. It is a worth visit temple. The entrance is free but you just need to take off your shoe and let the shoe keeper next to the entrance to keep for you which will cost you RM1. It sort of a donation for the temple.

Hi @aaronfoo1314 ,

Thanks so much for posting this! Kuala Lumpur seems amazing to visit! Do you live there yourself? My parents visited Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur two years back and really loved it.

They were fascinated with street food and all the buildings. Are these your favorite places to visit? Which one is a must-see?

Yes, I’m local here but not exactly stay in Kuala Lumpur now. There are lots of street foods and attractions to see. Petaling Street Market is the best place to look for local chinese food because of the culture itself. There are amazing food at other places too. I will share more in the future.
