Exploring my society to inspire others

  • The local guide program means so much to me! The program provides me with an avenue to be a global player, in my little way, and a contributor to information sourcing, gathering and dissemination. It affords me the opportunity to provide verifiable content contributions, in the form of insightful photos, videos, reviews and answers to pertinent questions about places. What more, the feedback has been so tremendous as I have been able to help a large number of people to make informed decisions on where to go.

The program is also helping me contribute to societal development through social information gathering and dissemination, which in turn have helped me in building my photographic and writing skills as exemplified by the fact that my reviews have generated great interests to a lot of people.

With the local guide program, I have been able to explore and review different restaurants, take valuable and clear pictures, make recommendations. I have been able to discover new and existing businesses and places, which makes them now open to the world, especially visiting tourists.

Overall, being a local guide is really what I do for fun, and even though I take it up at my leisure time, it has now become my passion and I crave to therefore to do more. Getting such overwhelming feedback from viewers gives me the enthusiasm to do more and give people informed decisions of where to go for their outings.

I also like the appreciation I receive from Google most times when I contribute. This drives the energy in me, to continue to explore the beauty of the world and as well sharing it with others. Through this program, I see myself helping organisations like Google, to meet their business reengineering policy objectives as my content contributions increase the use of modern technology to enhance data dissemination and decision-making processes. Though in a small way, slowly and steadily I am becoming a player in the global information sharing. For this, I am inspired and excited to do more!

This place was where I got my highest view. Seeing the views and sure the owner will work really hard to improve the service, food and others of the place knowing that people actually check the map to make discussions on where to go. Business owners are now serious about the type of service they are offering.

This place was new when I discovered it. I recommended it to a lot of people and I’m happy to help new business grow. My little action of taking pictures can grow a business. They have the best party jollof in the country

The first review I made on google map. And I was so impressed when I say that in few days people are actually viewing it.
