Exploring Moscow. Architectural Model of Moscow

A few days ago I have visited the Pavilion of the Architectural Model of Moscow, located at VDNH. This pavilion can be visited absolutely free of charge - admission is free.

The model has 368 square meters area, is a model of the city center, inside the Garden Ring and partly beyond, which includes more than 20 thousand buildings and structures in 1:400 scale, created with absolute precision.

And I found a cool video on YouTube about the Model.

I met the author of the video, Mr. Vadim Gavrilidi, - he was involved in the creation of this object. I hasten to share a video on how this amazing model was created.

On the video, you can see they use Google Earth and Local Guides photos for models creation too!

More information and videos you can find on my Around Moscow blog.
