Goa, India was a Portuguese Colony for over 451years. As a result you find a great influence of Portugal over the lifestyle and foods of Goa. Goa is located in the coastal region as a result there Sea Foods are more common and can be found every where. During my 3 day trip, i tried a lots of places and a lots of local Cuisines.

Here is a brief of my Solo Food Hunting experience at North Goa.

DRINKS: If you are big fan of trying different Drinks, then you will never get a disappointment in Goa. There are wide varieties of Wines, Cocktails, and some signature chef made Mock tails that you can try here.

Most of Restaurants and bars have an option of outdoor dining and drinking option. You can enjoy your drink while enjoying beach parties, live concerts or best of the everything the Sunset view.

Most of the Restaurants and Bars provide complementary Drinks to the visitors. There are a lot of place that will make your evening or night insane, just you have to do a bit research.

Blue Lagoon and Clear Fizzy Soda water

Some of the restaurants have replaced the plastic straw with natural bamboo straw.

FOODS*:*

The local food of Goa is categorised into Two broad groups

1. Hindu Cuisine

2.Catholic Cuisine

You will find both types of Foods in every Goan Restaurants. As Goa is in Coastal region so there is a wide range of sea foods including varieties of Fishes, Prawn, Crabs and Lobsters. Also you will find Porks, Beefs and Red meats.

These are classic styled Prawns seasoned with a lot of Vinegar and spices. This provides very rich taste to your buds.

This is a non-veg combo loaded with spices, sauces and vegetables. There is a sweet surprise in crunchy veges.

Right as you said @RenuK

Information on some vegetarian spots would be delightful.

BTW veganism is not yet prevalent here as we relish dairy products!

Thank You @C_T for your efforts. But there is a bit difference in Vegetarian and Vegan. And @RenuK was asking for Vegan Restaurants i.e. the restaurants that don’t use cheese, milk, butter, cream or any other products obtained from animals.

Hope you got me !
