Whenever I visit any place I try to checkout their local foods and street foods. Some of these foods make me happy and I always remember the places. A few months ago I visited the Khulna City of Bangladesh. I tasted some foods there. Today I’m going to share my food exploring experience with my fellow local guides. I divided this post with four categories. Lunch and Dinner Item, Sweet Item, Street Foods Item and Tea Item.
Lunch and Dinner Item:
In Bangladesh we take heavy meals in our lunch and dinner. We as usual choose rice item. In Khulna Beef Chui Jhal and Mutton Chui Jhal is the item which is famous for eat with rice. Chui is basically a wood of Piper chaba tree. Khulna’s Chuknagar is famous for Chui Jhal. There are many hotels serve chui Jhal. But local people suggest Abbas Hotel for best taste.
Rainy day in our country we prefer Khichuri for lunch or dinner. It was raining when I was in Khulna. So, I ordered Khichuri with egg fry and also a soft drink.
Bangladeshi people always love Biryani item. I also love this item very much. For me, it’s easy to eat. A new Biryani hotel was opened when I was in Khulna. So, I ordered their Biryani. They serve Biryani with opening day complimentary sweets.
Sweet Item:
In Khulna Indromohon Sweets is famous for sweets. They have five items of sweet. Sandesh, Roshogolla, Pantua, Chamcham and Danadar. As a sweet lover I tasted all of them. All sweets are mouthwatering.
Street Foods Item:
One of my younger suggests to me to taste Rupsha’s Daalpuri. When I arrived there were too much crowded Many people in queue. I managed a seat and ordered the daalpuri. It’s delicious.
Maximum time I ignore street food for lack of hygiene. But street foods are most mouthwatering things. I saw someone making something with lemon. Which called Lemon Pinic. I went to him and ordered for me too. It’s sour, hot and spicy.
Tea Item:
Tea is famous in Bangladesh. Nowadays, many people try to invent different flavour and different layout. I found a shop where they make 9 types of tea. For this time I only ordered Bharer Tea. They also have Mushroom Cow Milk Tea, Mushroom Red Tea, Malai Tea, Milk Coffee, Black Coffee, Milk Cream Tea, Malta Tea and Regular Red Tea.
Finally I found another tea shop that sold Lear tea. The way it was made was amazing as well as the taste.
The interesting thing is that all the food prices were low. Their environment and behavior was also good. Hope you guys enjoyed this post. Don’t forget to comment which food you found interesting.
