Explore the City of Tampa

The City of Tampa is a beautiful city full of places to explore, restaurants to try, and many people to meet. However, I believe the City of Tampa is the best place to go for some romantic dinner with your love ones. For the past three years, my fiancée and I have traveled all over Florida to explore and try new food! We go from late night dinner at McDonalds to a 5 stars restaurant or just chilling at the beach to climbing 200+ steps to the top of the St. Augustine lighthouse. It just him and I.

Things we do around Florida:

  • Late at night, we would take a nightly drive around downtown Tampa to look at the city lights and enjoy the night life. There’s places such as the Riverwalk, Armature Works, Sparkman Warf, etc. to enjoy a late night walk.
  • Some nights, we can’t decide what to eat or where to eat, so we usually go to McDonald’s, but there’s some nights my fiancée and I would pick a country and search up the nearest restaurant to try. My fiancée and I love Korean food, so places such as SariOne in Tampa, Izziban and Sushi in Orlando, or Sushi Kampai in Brandon. Sometimes, we are on a budget, so we would go to all you can eat sushi at Koizi in Wesley Chapel or Brandon. However, there’s other places we tried such as Hofbrauhaus (German Food) in St. Petersburg, Moon Under Water (British Food) in St. Petersburg, Jai Ho Royale Indian Cuisine in Tampa, or Asiatic Streetfood and Noodle Bar in Ybor.
  • Sometimes, we have special events such as our anniversary and we want to have a special night out, we would go to Texas De Brazil in Tampa, Bern’s Steakhouse in Tampa, Pier 22 in Bradenton, On Swann in Hyde Park, Benedetto’s Ristorante Italiano in Lutz.
  • Usually in the summer, we spend a lot of time in the water! My fiancée love to swim and enjoy water activities! Florida have the most beautiful springs and rivers to spend an entire day at. Some places we visit is Ginnie Springs in High Springs, Weeki Wachee Park in Weeki Wachee, Kelly’s Park Rock Springs in Apopka, Rainbow River in Dunnellon, or Lithia Springs in Lithia.
  • Florida is surrounded by beaches! We have Clearwater Beach, Treasure Island, Lido Beach, Anna Marie Beach, Siesta Key Beach, Miami Beach, Fred Howard Park, Cocoa Beach, etc.
  • Also, there’s a lot of free tourist spots such as Sponge Dock in Tarpon Springs, Pier 60 in Clearwater, Cocoa Beach Pier, Disney Springs in Orlando, City Walk at Universal, etc.
  • Don’t forget, we also have Disney World with their 4 parks ( Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios) and 2 water parks (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon). Universal also have 2 parks (Adventure Islands and Universal Studios) and 1 water park (Volcano Bay). Other parks such as Busch Gardens and Treasure Island, Seaworld and Aquatics. There’s other spots that have rides such as Fun Spot, Old Town, The Wheel of Icon, Starflyer, etc.
  • Florida also have a lot of fairs, parades, and festivals! We have the State Fair, Strawberry Festivals, and many small local fairs. There’s Sunset Music Festival, Ultra Festival, Tet Festival (Chinese New Year), Columbian Festival, Puerto Rican Festivals, Pride Parade, Christmas Parade, Phillifest, etc.

I’m pretty sure this list will go on and on if I keep listing it out. My fiancée and I just love to travel and explore together and want to share these places with everyone! Most of the areas we travel is Tampa/Orlando area. Find yourself a lover or just bring your love ones here to Florida! We are a bit crazy and a bit wild, but we sure know how to enjoy.
