I am writing this post to help people who are keen to explore new places by travel to new country or during their transit time in different country.
I also travels some times due to my work and face difficulty to find new places in a new country. To cater this problem i use google maps read reviews and see pics posted by other local guides. As i know it difficult to find good places to spend time in new country or on long transit flights so i will help by this channel to people who are interested in exploring Qatar or who wants to see Qatar as i feel good and confident by helping people to explore new places.
If you are travelling by Qatar airways and have transit in Doha or you travel to explore the world then Doha capital of peninsular Arab country whose terrain comprises arid desert and a long Persian (Arab) Gulf shoreline of beaches and dunes Qatar is waiting for you as its first country in middle east region who is going to host FIFA World Cup 2022. If you have long transit hours in Doha you no need to worry about visa as Qatar offers visa on arrival to people from 80 countries.
It has every thing from small old markets and shopping malls to largest man made islands (The Pearl Qatar & Banana Island) . Below are places i recommend you must visit if you got a chance to see Doha in 24 hours. I will cover these islands in another post because it requires more time to visit and enjoy these islands, if you go for these islands you will miss the doha city. More time in terms of activities not traveling & for banana island you need to have prior bookings.
Souq Waqif:
Souq waqif is a traditional market with shops of garments, spices, handicrafts, souvenirs, bird and falcon market, Art Gallery and full of dozens of restaurants and Shisha lounges. MIA Park & Islamic Museum:
MIA park & Islamic Museum is a beautiful place with view of Doha skyline and its around 1.7 KM from Souq Waqif if you have stamina to walk you can walk or you can go by taxi its just 5 to 10 minutes drive from souq waqif.
Corniche (Al Dafna):

City Center:
After Corniche got to city center doha, city center doha is one of famous tourist places due to its unique location, and shopping offers and some entertainment events on weekendshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gM329Nq40RA
Villagio Mall & Aspire Park:
After city center take taxi and go to villagio mall. I recommend you must visit it as its indoor mall representing venice and 3d effects of weather, even on night you will feel its day time. It has a lot of restaurants on side of indoor lake. If you have time you can visit aspire park also which is behind this mall. Below are some clicks
Katara Beach & Cultural Village:
After all go to katara beach and cultural village with full of amazing architecture work. The good thing about this place is its not much crowded in fact whole Doha is not crowded.

If you have time after visiting above places and it night then you can visit tawar mall it has roof top water fountains with restaurants and souq market representing qatari culture especially for cultural products
