Explore, discover, tell – why I like sharing information on Google maps.

Hello everyone! My name is Anna. I am from Russia. I was born in a far Siberian city, Tomsk, but I have been living in Novosibirsk for several years.

These are two different cities that are at a distance of 300 kilometers from each other. Tomsk has 600 thousand inhabitants, and Novosibirsk has more than 1.5 million inhabitants. Such different cities, but equally require attention to detail, service, places of rest and restaurants.

I am a PR Manager of the city resource center for children’s recreation and health improvement. And for me as a PR person, information and quality are important.

My work is related to children’s recreation and children’s camps, so I regularly travel to see and assess the quality and standard of living: appearance, interior and cultural program.

In addition, I, of course, go to cafes, cinemas, spas, shops and other places.

I always write about different places, other regions or countries I visit.

I started to leave my reviews on Google maps a few years ago at first time, after my new smartphone offered me to leave my impression about the place I just visited. Since then, I write reviews regularly. I like to share with others information about the places I’ve been, because it helps to make the world a little better.

In Russia, few people use Google maps, most prefer to leave their feedback on another specialized site. There are also few local guides in my country. This is another reason why I like to share information here. Often there is no any information in my city about this or that place. To help people understand what is special and unique in different institutions, I write reviews and publish photos.

I like Google maps, because there are ample opportunities for the study and viewing of different places.

I believe that this direction should be developed and told to everyone that it can be useful and informative. It’s great to be a local guide!

P.S. What I like especially. I love to travel and take pictures of nature!

Thank you for your attention!
