The following are three criteria to become an expert reviewer.
Review 100 places
Write 50 Reviews with over 200 Characters.
Get 50 likes on your reviews.
I have reviewed 196 places (Criteria 1) and have 111 likes (Criteria 3).
And have written more than 50 Reviews (over 200 Characters) but the number isn’t changing from 46. It looks like Google isn’t counting correctly or there is an error.
I need someone to guide me to understand why this number isn’t changing.
That’s good of you to have reviewed up to 196 POI and thank you for posting it in here on connect as well. I had one quick look at your profile now, and I realised that out of your 196 reviews that you have written 18 of them are marked private I believe. What that means is that it’s hidden from the public, only you can see the reviews. I wonder if the other ones you wrote over 200 characters are hidden then they will not count. Hope this answers your questions and thank you for asking.
Reviews are marked private or hidden when they violate the rules and guidelines regarding writing a good review. You’ll soon get the badge anyways, keep writing good and honest reviews
Thanks for your answer. Could you please guide me on how can I check which reviews have been marked as private or hidden to understand the mistake so that I do not repeat the same mistake again.
Kindly use the tagging tool “@” followed by the username like I did to yours above in the blue colour ! Thanks.
Now to find your hidden reviews, there’s a post How-to-find-your-hidden-reviews . I suppose you’ll also like to Read about typical review guideline violations here. Kindly check out those 2 links.
