Dirndl is an ethnic dress mostly worn in Germany, Switzerland and Austria…
I recently moved to Munich and I am asked by one of my friends to join to a Beerfest event and he said wearing a Dirndl will be great if I can. Then I went to a Dirndl shop to choose a Dirndl for myself and I am inspired by the colourful fashion behind this traditional dress.
Dirndl is made to look like the ethnic dresses that peasants from the Alps were used to wear. It is said that the origin of the word Dirndl meant a Bavarian (Bayern) girl.
By the way ladies the bow in the apron has to be tied on the left side if you are single, and on the right side if you are taken…
If you visit these countries, you should check out lovely Dirndl shops ? You will love the fashion

muy lindos los vestidos de tu región, me gusto mucho lo de la costumbre del nudo @EsinHezer , un amanera muy practica de decirle al otro si estas casado o no sin necesidad de utilizar el anillo de compromiso.
Saludos Farid

You’re welcome, @EsinHezer . It’s always nice to learn something from other culture.
Ah, so you’ve visited Indonesia for couple times? Glad to hear that. And Bali is indeed a very beautiful island to visit to.
If you want to experience the other Indonesian beauty, I suggest you to have a visit to Sumba Island or Flores (maybe you ever heard about the komodo dragon? )
The landscape there is surreal. And the local people are very warm… :))
