Experience Lagos

Yes! You must have heard about Lagos, the most populous city in Nigeria and Africa?

Lagos is actually a State in Nigeria (There are 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory). In fact, Lagos is the smallest of all the 36 States, by landmass!

The capital of Lagos State is Ikeja. Now, in Lagos State there are 20 Local Governments, some of which have grown to merge as mega city.

The Lagos Island is actually the main city we all refer to as “Lagos” City. Lagos Island has sprawled into an extensive city ( Marina, Ikoyi, Victoria Island) including new conurbation like Banana Island, Parkview, Lekki, Ajah, Ibeju Lekki and the Eko Atlantic.

Lagos is always bustling with activities from morning into the next morning. Commuting each day could be exhausting but that’s part of Lagos life. The traffic and people sometimes can marvel a Lagosian especially when you need to be on time. You may look up some accessible facilities before heading out.

Weekends are so exciting, knowing there are lots of things to do and places to catch fun.

Situated close to the Atlantic Ocean and having a Lagoon cutting inwards, water activities sure have a top spot for fun seekers.

You could visit private or public beaches along the coast such as Lekki Beach, Elegushi Private beach, Baracuda beach, Alpha beach and many more.

Boat cruise on the Lagoon definitely will provide a vantage point to see some luxurious landmarks on the Island - 1004 Flats, Ikoyi bridge, the Civic Towers and jetties.

For nature lovers, the Lekki Conservation Centre is one of the pristine forests in the city. It has both plants and animals in their natural conditions. Monkeys, fish, alligators and birds will make your day.

Lufasi Park, Omu Resort, Lakowe Golf Resort and Muri Okunola Park are natural destinations too.

Nightlife is real in Lagos. From top notch five star hotels to Japanese themed restaurants. Jazz cafe to Afrobeat shrine. Food, music and dance will make you want to stay!

Liquid options from alcohol to soft coconut drinks. And you can try the exquisite palm wine too. Weekend Football viewing is a big thing for Lagosians, just in case you hear sudden roars when a team scores!

Oh, taxi hailing services are avaible 24hrs too. Public transit terminals can be found across the state.

Art is a growing secret in the metropolis. With an annual global art festival, some galleries have great works on display. Nike Art Gallery, Omenka Gallery and National Museum will tickle your fancy.

Lagos is lovely jubbly! And the people surely puts the icing on the cake. Try speaking Pidgin.

Welcome to Lagos- the centre of excellence

P.s Lagos is also know as Eko (pronounced “Echo”)
