Expecting help to add a local business.

Greetings to All !!!

Myself Abdu Razak. Now from Jubail City, Saudi Arabia. already introduced in March-2019 section.( You can read it here ! ) jubail is an industrial city of Saudi Arabia. and i have been here for last 2 months. i am staying in flat in Ladies Market. why its calls Ladies market ? yes ! you are right ! it’s a market for ladies. there is a hundreds of Shops, sells products like dress, foot wears, Cosmetics, herbal products, etc. mainly for ladies. from evening 4 pm the market will be filled with Saudi women. till midnight they walks through the street and enjoys shopping.currently they using google maps for finding the shops and contacts. and Saudis are more happy if there home delivery. I am staying at the end corner of this market.

At the side of my flat’s entrance, there is small shop, about the size of a lift room, it’s a watch repair shop. He is a 45+ aged Indian especially from Kerala. he struggle for surviving, have to meet living expenses, sponsors charge, yearly expenses of ID renewal, etc, last but not least he have to run his Indian family too. once i had a silly talks with him and he said he plan to vacate for India because he didn’t gets enough works. I motivated him to stay and suggested some changes for the shop and a name board also. now he is confident that he can be better.

Let’s come to the point, before 2 weeks i try to add his small firm to google maps and still its not got approved. So it’s the duty of the socially committed local guides, to help me to understand the factors which is mandatory to get approval of a place we creates. and help me to add this to google maps.

@DeniGu @VijayDesai @rajuroyal i hopes i will get an immediate help from any of the well known local guide.

"If your edit is Pending, that means we’re still reviewing it. We may need additional information to verify that your edit is accurate. It may take some time for us to gather that information and for fellow Local Guides to use the Check the facts feature on Google Maps to confirm the information you shared is correct."

And now, I don’t think there is something you can do for them unless other local guides mark your edits as ‘Yes’ in the ‘Check the facts’'. But always keep your GPS on and make sure it is accurate when you are adding a place to maps. When I am adding a location on the map I have found that when I am present in the location and GPS is accurate maps tend to approve it in most cases. Also always try to add a photo of the place when adding or editing, this will increase the chance of approval.
