Exercise and take 360 pictures with the bike.

Hello I’m Omer Dogan

I live in Turkey

I ride on a bike. I wish I could shoot while traveling

Then I came up with an idea.I bought a monopod and tied it to the bike.I put gopro fusion on it.Then I started shooting. It was easy and simple.Sahil kenarlarını, patika yolları,trafiğe kapalı alanlar vb… I shot wherever the bike could go.Missing roads and streets I completed your 360 photo.

Hi @omerdogan52-58

It looks fun and easy to ride a bike and get 360 shots.

I noticed quite a bit of advertising in your shots both in front and behind your bike. What are the guidelines for adding such information in 360 photos posted to Google Maps?

I’m not a 360 photographer, but hope to become one in the future.

Cheers

A nice solution to the problem you found. I’m hoping to fill in some missing roads here one day but its nowhere the number you have access to there sadly, Google are too efficient here :slightly_smiling_face:

I do regular 360 photos with a DSLR and 360 camera but want a “one shot” that can turn video into Streetview images.

I was considering a Theta V or One X just for the ease of blue lining but how are you finding the Gopro from a workflow point of view?

Keep up the good work.

Also as mentioned by @MortenCopenhagen , please review the Format Specific Criteria for photos and videos uploaded on Google Maps, section 360 photos as well as “Branding in the nadir/zenith of 360 images” from Sales and Branding Guidelines for Trusted Photographers. These articles will help you to align the 360 photos you have already uploaded and also your future ones within the guidance.

Thank you.

@turbotapeworm

Thank you.gopro works very well.just need to check if gps is on

  • @MashaPS @DeniGu @it’s all mine. If you shout, all my pictures were taken by bicycle. If you look down, you will see me.do not judge without careful examinatio

@MortenCopenhagen everyone hits their brand on the picture that Google throws. How do you realize without a brand? Most companies put their logo under the picture.

@MashaPS @DeniGu my picture and Google time history gps records are proof to pro

it was too heavy to say remove pictures. I put so much effort into taking pictures.
