excursion on the way

Life is full of new things, events, instant happenings, beauty, sudden attraction and many more, but if and if only, when you come out of the box-” box having walls of daily official job, boring routines, and repetitive things.”
Someone true said, “The world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page.” So I decided to travel to different places, as much as possible before I die. As I started to travel, I found people, places, landscapes, foods, cultures, traditions, etc are indulging with my life and makes me happy and calm. From then I consider myself as a traveler. In December 2016 I joined as a google local guide.

I experienced the following being as a local guide -

1- Local guides can add a new place, traditional cultural events, review things, share locations via photos, videos, etc. It will help others to find and “connect” places and people. So do I.

2- Most importantly as I plan to visit a place, I search that place before I go.

3- This connect thing also creates a bond between local guides all over the world. which is a healthy and fruitful outcome of Google’s local guide connect effort. And this is what I respect about technology.

4- This connect thing gives the whole world a new type of controlled information via using just google map. And I think “review” part is playing its role majorly, as different guides correct or update each other’s contributions.
And without travel, all above cannot be mentioned. I like excursion on the way  And you?

I’m going to move your post to the Local Stories section on Connect where the Local Guides from all around the world share their local stories and inspiration why they like to be Local Guides and how they contribute to Google Maps. I will also add a Travel tag.
