myself Harshad belongs to Thekkepuram Community which is located in Southern side city of Calicut in Kerala, India.
My community is unique in many ways. This community is well known mainly for its Food habits, Jumbo Houses and Joint Family Cultures .
We thekkepurans are food lovers and makes tasty and delicious foods mainly made out of beef and chicken. Our Chicken nirachath or Full Chicken stuffed with egg and masala is famous.
Another dish is samoosa. Unlike other samoosas, we make small in size stuffed with beef and onion masala and deep fried in coconut oil.
Meen pathiri or Fish stuffed snacks made of rice flour is another tasty snacks.
Kannu Vecha Pathiri made of Maida and deep fried in Coconut oil is another delicious.
Kanji made of Jeera Rice and coconut milk, Aleessa made of Wheat and Mutton and served with small onion fried in pure ghee is another.
