I’m not so frequent on LG Connect, but I had to write this for its uniqueness. A story of two girls from the slums of Mumbai on an idea of building a Greener Planet!
Located in the chawls of Malwani, Mumbai and operated from their father’s old jewelry shop, sisters Rinku and Radha Soni have just outdone a simple thought of making a greener environment.
Started two years back with their family’s support and just an idea to make every thing green, the sisters embarked on a journey to build Blue Bird Universal that has now brought them big corporate names such as State Bank of India (SBI) and Tata hospitals.
Orders can be placed via their website. Currently, they ship only in India.
They make eco-friendly and plantable pencils, pens, notebooks, flower pots, Rakhis, diya, Lord Ganesha idols and what not. There is 0% wastage of whatever you buy and everything can be planted with just a few steps.

I just bought a few Rakshabandhan kits from them and they are just amazing. The packaging is also really good. The products are decently priced for what they offer. Highly recommended to everyone who like planting and gardening.
