Estoy un poco decepcionado

Durante esta pandemia, no he salido, bueno más bien lo he hecho poco, pero tristemente me doy cuenta que me han quitado muchos puntos, muchos inmerecidamente, he tratado de hacer contacto para quejarme pero no recibí respuesta alguna

Hello, @ruleslogi

Sad to note that there was a reduction in points. Also understand your frustration.

Although, the accumulated points are for the lifetime, still, there can be a deduction for the following reasons.

Deleting photos and reviews voluntarily.

We have to do that when either a) The photos are near duplicate. b) Those start appearing at some unknown place or c) Become private because of some non compliance to guidelines.

Purging of objectionable photos and reviews through automated evaluation,

That’s explained in the helpdesk article at this link. Prohibited and Restricted content
https://support.google.com/contributionpolicy/answer/7400114?hl=en&ref_topic=7422769#zippy=%2Coffensive-content.

“Reviews are automatically processed to detect inappropriate content like fake reviews and spam. We may take down reviews that are flagged to comply with Google policies or legal obligations.”

However, the most likely reason is the deletion of Maps history. When we choose to delete that after three or eighteen or thirty-six months, that action also deletes the “Answers to the Questions.”

You will know more about that in this article.
How do I delete my answers to questions on Google Maps?
https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/Help-Desk/How-do-I-delete-my-answers-to-questions-on-Google-Maps/ba-p/1951040

The loss due to this inadvertent action is irrecoverable.

Nevertheless, to prevent further such deductions, you have to choose to retain the Web & App activity forever.

To do that, click your profile icon in the app. Next → Settings → Maps History → Auto Delete → and then select the option & “Don’t auto delete”.

Further, nowadays, we need not wait for the questions to arrive spontaneously. We can invoke those by going through “More ways to share” in the contribute now option. There you will find the third option seeking your inputs on the recently visited places.
That will help in mitigating some of the loss.

Hello @ruleslogi ,

Thank you for reaching out. Take a moment to read the tips @C_T kindly shared with you.

In addition to that, I am marking his reply as a solution, so other Local Guides can refer to it. The purpose of this feature is to help Local Guides find answers when searching on Connect. Please take a look at How do I mark comments as solutions? article.

The How-tos section of Connect is the board where you can share your questions related to the Local Guides program or your Google Maps contributions. To keep Connect more organized, I will move your post there.

Just to let you know, as your post is written in Spanish language, I’ve added the Spanish language label to your post.

To learn more about those labels I recommend you to take a look at the following article How do I find posts in my preferred language?.
