Error: no thumbnails for meet-up posts

Hi,

Have you noticed that from the last few days thumbnails are not showing for meet-up posts? First I thought this is happing for only me. But now I see this is for everyone. :disappointed_relieved:

Update: After posting this thread I figured out why this is happening. It seems that Local Guides Connect is not picking up the images hosted externally as thumbnails. The photo used in this post has been hosted in https://postimages.org/. Photos we upload while submitting out meet-ups are hosted in https://storage.googleapis.com/lg_meetup_images/ which is a different serval than LG connect.

I am tagging @sonnyNg for checking out this issue. I beleive he knows better what caused this.

The issue has been escalated three days ago, and Google Team is working on it.

As you may see, there is an issue (escalated) about the trendy post, that are not shown on a month range on the main page of Connect, instead of the usual week range of time
