Today, we are moving to the Kungkuk Tourism Village in Batu City. At that location, dozens of villagers were prepared to participate in the Sabers Pungli movement. There are also a number of communities supporting the movement, such as Fokus Polres Batu, Voice of Village Women, Community Protection Unit Batu Tourism City, Punten Village Welfare Education, Linmas Punten, Bumiaji Sector Police, Association of Indonesian Hotels and Restaurants, Batu City Children Forum, and Environment Offices of Batu City.
With around 100 participants, that morning the event began with a brief ceremony at the intersection of the Kungkuk Tourism Village. The ceremony was led by the Head of Sector Police in Bumiaji Subdistrict, then directed by the coordinator Sabers Pungli who was also a member of Batu Local Guides, Mad Berlin. Around the location, there were posters of the legislative candidates, so we had to blur in the documentation process. After the ceremony, participants then spread to several river points. The trash is immediately lifted, put in a basket, and loaded into a garbage truck.
After all the points are clear of garbage, participants are welcome to eat together in front of the mosque. The volunteers provide corn rice dishes, complete with appetizing traditional side dishes. After finishing eating together, the event was ended. We left, to continue the next event, namely Food Crawl at Warung Watu Gedhek, which was initiated by a member of Batu local Guides.
