What places do people go to first, having reached the Cote d’Azur? Correct: Cannes, Monaco, Nice, St. Tropez. That’s all, no one wants to move on. I love outdoor activities, I love road trips, I’m not interested in tourist places.
Therefore, my wife and I decided for ourselves that we would go where our eyes look and be sure to find something interesting. What is the French village of Antrevo? Personally, it reminds us of a small cozy town-castle.
In France, all the villages and small openings are beautiful, it’s even hard to say which one is more beautiful, each has its own attractiveness.
This is how we see Antrevo now, with its thick tall walls and the fast Var river. Entering the main gate, it seemed that we were transferred to the Middle Ages! The streets are so narrow that even the smallest car will not enter the town.
In a city with a population of about 900 people, it seems, there are as many cats and dogs! Wherever you turn it around, a sleek cat lies here and there, and swarms of swallows fly over the roofs. Pleasant, clean narrow streets beckon to walk along them, to see how the townspeople live and breathe.
And in the town begins to get dark … musicians in the main square hide tools. They made an unforgettable atmosphere; they played jazz all evening.
With darkness comes magic. Fireflies begin to sparkle on the mountains surrounding Antrevo!
The province of France is an absolutely magical place. I recommend everyone to go out of town, because there real life is hiding!
