Hi there!
My name is Oscar but all my good friends know me as Rakzo which sounds a bit confusing at first but it’s just Ozkar spelled backwards so let´s keep this simple.
I’m one of the first chiropractors in my city (Merida, Mexico which is 477 years-old) and I also work as a program associate for a student travel company while being a tour guide on my free time so I definitely love discovering new places and meeting people from all over the world with whom I can share the richness of my beautiful city.
I started to use Google Maps several years ago and it helped me while traveling/working all around the world. Actually, it is the only app I use to locate myself and discover the fastest route to take me to a pacients house or just to find the best bar in town, so I truly understand the importance of having up-to-date information on the platform.
I am sure that many of you have found this perfect place that you urgently need to reach and when you finally arrive… It turns out that the place has another name or is completely closed. So what I really love is to discover most of these non-existing places and let the Google Maps team know ASAP so they can eliminate it and we can save value time to many people and avoid them to come all excited to discover the place and face the unfortunate news that it does not exist anymore. Of course you feel down when this happens to you because nobody wants to lose their time so I can be that guy feeling bad about it but I definitely don’t want anybody else to feel like that. And that’s how every time I see there’s a place I know that it’s already closed or has changed I take immediate action.
Of course it’s not all about me doing the “hard work” as I also love to discover new restaurants and it feels so good to be one of the firsts reviewing the place and sharing pictures of the menu, the food and even about the appearance of the building so people can know what to expect before they arrive. That’s why I also like to respond to questions about accesibility, opening hours, payment methods, etc.
So I invite you to keep this simple by providing the latest information to our favorite platform as we are part of it and we can work as a team to grow and be the best community in the world. Let’s share, let’s support, let’s be ONE with Google Maps.
