Hello Local Guides ?
Hope you all are good ?
Since the lock-down started I have missed exploring places around and eating delicious food at different restaurants.
Here in India the restaurants opened for delivery and take-away a few months back but they allowed dine in with new safety guidelines early this November.
The foodie in me started exploring food ?
I ordered food from many new places and I totally loved it but this place grabbed my attention.
It is a delivery kitchen named Veg Sutra, they offer only take-away and delivery.
Apart from having some pocket friendly meal combos they had this menu with calories mentioned beside the dish / combo.
I was also very impressed with their packaging as the food came in a leak proof tray and parathas were packed in a cute little box.
After receiving my order they owner called and asked if the food was fine and if any changes are required.
I really love delivery kitchen and can’t wait to try out other dishes.
I found this place best of 2020 because I loved their food as they offer single serve meal box (also because I love North Indian food :P) and menu as we get choice of bread, rice, lentils which we can change as per our preference keeping calories intake in Check.
I had two different Royal meal combos, Indeed it is a royal treat to taste buds ?
- Delhi Style Paneer Tikka Masala Royal Meal
it consists of paneer tikka Gravy (onion, capsicum, tasty cottage cheese cooked in tomato puree and blend of Indian spices)
Dal Makhni (lentils and pluses cooked in white butter and Spices)
Jeera Rice (cumin rice with coriander)
Roti, Coleslaw Salad and Gulab Jamun
- Paneer Kolkhapuri Royal Meal
this meal consists of
Chole (this time I opted for chole in lentils)
Jeera rice
Paneer kolhapuri (spicy tomato gravy with mixed veggies and cubes of cottage cheese)
Parathas (made with whole wheat)
coleslaw and gulab jamun
in both meal box I loved the Dal makhni it had a milky buttery flavour it was the best dal makhni I had in this year and the paneer (cottage cheese) was very soft and fresh both the gravies had their different taste and unique flavour, the Kolhapuri was spicy and tangy where where as tikka Masala crunch of veggies and delicious spice mix
the coleslaw was creamy and fresh, Gulab jamun were super soft and made a perfect dessert for this royal treat. In 2020 I had very less chance to go out so I guess this is the best food I ate this year ?
