Enjoying Holiday in Vietnam - Reunification & Labor day

Hello friends,

I am writing here on the holiday in Vietnam.

As this time, I also think about history of my country. We are proud of our past time when we were affected by foreign cultures (from Chinese, France and then the US) and how we are independent now. Everything has it own history and pride, I believe!

Then, I think about Localguideconnect Community, I want to introduce and write something about us to all you…^^. Then, you can know clearly the way which I chose to enjoy in holiday.

• Some people like travelling and exploring this period because they only have free time at this moment;

• Some want to enjoy at resort,

• Others chose coming back hometown where family meals, green fields and childhood friends remind them good and even bad memories;

• But Kian does another tendency, I chose stay at Ho Chi Minh city and went around the city to enjoy the normal things, normal walk, normal visit at very normal places. We are enjoying them during special moment like a foreigner visit Vietnam…

Visiting Independence palace on the Le Duan Street, where almost the visitors will visit but not residents like me.

After visiting this place, we went to enjoy the lunch in the MK restaurant (Thailand and Chinese styles, mixed).

We went around HoChiMinh city on a hop on hop off bus (2-floor bus)

We went to the book-street and bought books then.

Then, we caught the bus to come back home and end a wonderful day!

Hope you like the above story. You can understand a little bit about me and Vietnamese culture as well.

By the way same situation here long holiday period more than one week related Eid Mubarak holiday.So for this week traffic and spot tourist destination will be crowded.

Ahaha @Kian1510 I learning some greetings language,and Korean languages is interesting because I’m one of fans Korean drama LOL.

By the ways vietnamese greetings that I remember from my old co-workers only “Xin Chao” ( hello) and cam on ban ( thank you) . Correct me of if I wrong .
