I’ve seen similar sculptures with the wheel on other temples across India, do you know what does it represents?

I remember reading somewhere a long time ago that the wheel represents the sun, at least at the Temple of the Sun in Orissa, please correct me if I’m wrong.

This is called Temple Car which is a charriot are used to Carry Hindu God during the festival days.

It’s Sun God’s temple in Konark, Orissa built in the shape of Charriot.
