During summer of every year, there is Songkran Festival in Thailand well-known as water festival. It is also Thai New-Year on 13-15 April. Most thai people back to their hometown on that time to cerebrate with their family but some people also stay in Bangkok to play a water festival. I was in bangkok in the past summer and joined Songkran Festival at the Changchui (ช่างชุ่ย) Market where people normally come to shop, eat and hang out with their friend.
The land mark of this market is the plane at the center of the market which is decorated as a restaurant. People can go up to sit inside the plane and see others from that place.
Actually there are many places to go such as the famous street ,Kaosan Road and silom road where foreigners like to play water using a water gun to shoot each other.
I went to the market with my girl friend and found something to eat first before playing water. And for more funny I drank some beer which are thai and japanese brand. Both of them are good taste and really match with this festival
