Food is the main requirement of all of us. And we humans fulfill this need by different recipes. This variation is a symbol of our traditions of cuisine.
We all love traveling and I just love the extent of madness. And enjoying different tastes is also my passion. We must be cautious towards the budget and a relatively balanced approach is suggested.
While in Baga, I found Seasalt Restaurants much better. It was dinner time and we were at our table by the river. The menu was much better. Let me introduce you a little bit.
As I love soups so Tomato, Cream of Mushroom soups are vegetarian and Clear, Manchow, Hot and Sour, Sweet Corn and Noodles soups are available in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian and Seafood soup will bring the Goan Aroma.
Papad, French fries, Onion Bhaji, Pokada, Mushroom, Prawns butter garlic fried, Koliwada, Golden Fried Prawns, various chicken fries and roasted, green salad and Tuna salad I prefer seafood soup, Golden Fried Prawns and Green Salad before main course. Goan Cuisines remain first choice as Chicken Cafreal is superb among Chicken Chilly Fry, Chicken Xacuti etc. including the Goan Fish Curry with rice also popular as Goan Fish Thali an affordable option. Seafood is much nutritious with Kingfish, Pomfret, Xinaneo, Bangda, Chonak, Tiger prawns etc fried and roasted and I had Pomfret and Tiger prawns fried. Though a vast range is available in the seafood special and I like to check physically to ensure the freshness. Veg, Chicken, Kalmari, prawns and seafood sizzlers are the best options. Pasta Veg, Chicken, Cheese, Prawns, Seafood are additional add ons. Various kinds of Rice and Pulaos are the choices including many biryanis and Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani I always include. Indian Veg curries like Dal Tadka, Paneer Tikka Masala, Veg Kolhapuri are the choices of my wife and I like Mutton Roghan Josh and Fish Masala from many tasty options.
We love to enjoy Tandoori also as Aloo and Paneer Tikka are wife’s favourite and I prefer Tandoori Pomfret and Fish Tikka. Plain Roti and Lacha Paratha are the carrier of these delicious cuisines. Chinese main course, Chinese rice, Chinese Noodles are the options for Chinese food lovers.
Bar Menu is attractive includes aerates, rums, beer, brandy, vodka, Goan kaju and coconut Fenny, Wines, regular, premium and Scotch whisky Imperial Blue to Chivas Regale are the incremental additions to enjoy the live musical environment along the Baga River. Shooters, Liqueurs, Cocktails and mocktails are not the end but a refreshing start.
Sea Salt restaurant and bar is one of the best place for casual dining in the mellow and hearty environment.
