Kovalam Beach,Kerala,India was an enchanting experience. Lively and entertaining. the beach depicts natural beauty along with rocks,sun and sand overlooking the blue sea.
Hi @jojo522 ,
The Kovalm Beach looks quite beautiful, one would envy the people who live close to it. : )
Is it possible to swim now in the sea? I guess the water should be too cold.
Here is a photo of Bulgarian seaside at the city of Varna. Even though it is winter now and usually people can’t swim, though there are some that would do it, the seaside is a great place to go for a sunny walk and enjoy the beautiful view.
Have you tried swimming in cold waters? I don’t dare to try this… : )
Hi @jojo522 ,
Thank you for sharing these photos with us. What are they doing for the last photo? Did you visit it or you live there? What activities can do around this place? I think it will be interesting for the other Local Guides to learn more.
Yes, it is possible to swim, the water being comparatively hot and crystal clear.Really the nearby dwellers are lucky to have it.
@Aruni @TsekoV Thanks for the interest. Although i live in Kerala in a different place, i used to visit the beach on vacation. time…In the last photo as you mentioned it is really interesting to note the fishermen pulling in the net for the fish so abundant in quantity which needed so much strength… Fishing being the main occupation and livelihood you can watch such activities which are really interesting to us and daily bread to them.Here we introspect how the nature is blessing us and we are obliged to keep them safe by preserving natural resources.

@Aruni Thanks, Sure!
Hello @jojo522 ,
Thank you for sharing, the place looks amazing! I’m wondering why whenever I take a book about India and when it comes to beaches, most of the time it is Goa which is mentioned!? As far as I can see from your photos, Kerala has very beautiful beaches too.
@BorrisS Thanks. Here comes the significance of Local Guides by whose experience the correct picture of potential tourist attractions are being explored. Admitting that Goa has so may beautiful beaches there are equally such beaches in Kerala also which were not exploited or utilized or advertised due to many factors. However it is a fact that both are part of India being blessed by Nature.
Hi @jojo522 ,
Sorry for my late answer.
I like the way how you explained how people need to keep preserve the natural resources, but still take what is needed to survive.
Looking forward to your next great posts!
@TsekoV Thanks ,really encouraging and motivating!
