Emergency Winter Shelter for Homeless People

Hello…

Last Sunday I found a place that the city of Lawndale open for the homeless people this winter. Don`t know if is only for locals, but is very important that the city took to avoid any tragedy with the low temperature waiting for these days, especially if we going to have another storm this Xmas weekend.

I tried to create the place in Google map and show the picture of the place but was NOT APPLIED. Im new here and I dont know how help to post this place to help. Can somebody with experience help me to post it? or share before the next storm touch Southern California?

i believe adding an emergency winter shelter location on maps would be really helpfull for a lot of people, just like @AshleySundquist 's inspiring story here: You Can Help the Homeless with Google Maps

but according to this post (Why is my edit status Pending or Not Applied ), “…if your edit isNot Applied, that means we (google) were unable to confidently verify the information you shared at this time.”

maybe you could try again next time.

I miss some information in the post like the time they open and close, and the people in charge, but I think I can find this info next weekend.

The info that I get last Sunday was from trust source in the location but incomplete… my fault.
