I recently took a trip to Malshej Ghat, and I am still mesmerized by the breath-taking beauty of nature. If you love mountains, misty roads, and lush green landscapes, this place is absolute heaven during the monsoon season.
The Mesmerizing Weather & Foggy Roads
As I started driving up the winding ghat roads, the entire landscape turned into a misty paradise. The weather was pleasantly cold and foggy, making visibility low but the vibe completely magical. Driving through clouds passing over the highway is an experience words can barely capture!
Towering Mountains & Cascading Waterfalls
The majestic green mountains standing tall around the valley looked like something straight out of a painting. Every few meters, I could see pristine waterfalls (abshar) gushing down the rocky cliffs. Water splashing onto the roadsides and the sound of flowing streams added a soothing rhythm to the entire journey.
A Glimpse of Divine Nature
Standing at the edge of the viewpoint, looking at the endless valleys covered in dense fog and listening to the natural streams, made me appreciate the true wonder of nature. It truly felt like witnessing the pure artwork of the Almighty.
Tips for Visitors:
Best Time to Visit: Early morning during the monsoon (July to September) for the best fog and waterfalls.
Safety First: Drive carefully as the ghat roads can be slippery with thick fog.
Local Food: Don’t forget to enjoy piping hot tea (chai) and fresh bhutta (corn) by the waterfalls!
