Today I recieved an email that not only had the Local Guides logo but also was represented in a form that was exactly like those we all receive. Once I hit the link to open the app it came up on my mobile in desktop mode and to my surprise an almost nude woman with an inappropriate caption. Has anyone else come across this?

Hi @MFLNorris welcome to Local Guides Connect and thank you for reaching out. I have never seen something like that my self. I am sure this can be traced and put to an end. Our Google Moderators do not work on weekends, so please be patient they will attend to you as soon as they get back.

@MFLNorris No, I haven’t seen that. Could you check if the email was seent from the local guide’s email? Also for the Googler to check could you share the screenshot or the links?

I reported it as spam. I can’t seem to find it now. I am going to work on tracing it further. I will keep you posted.
I reported that the email as spam. I was so appalled that I reacted too quickly and now I am having a difficult time tracking the email down. I will keep you posted.
