Hier im Norden von Deutschland ist es seit Tagen immer nur grau, dunkel und nasskalt.
Der Winter hat noch nicht angefangen und schon sehne ich mich nach Sonnenschein und Wärme.
Das Video selbst wurde als zu groß abgelehnt, also habe ich einen Screenshot und Link zugefügt.
Es zeigt einen schönen Sommertag auf einen Campingplatz an der Ostsee in Waabs

Earlier we couldn’t add videos. I think videos were needed to be approved before posting here so most people used YouTube uploaded videos and provided their links. I haven’t tested but I would try posting a few seconds video to see if it works now.
I didn’t know Germany looks this warm and greenish. Is it lake or Baltic or north seat ? Looks like Mediterranean sea and coast of Italy or Greece.

Auch gerade in Bezug auf Skandinavien.
Es ist im Winter kalt und dunkel, aber im Sommer zur Mittsommer Zeit (Juni)
wird es gar nicht dunkel und die Sommertage sind fantastisch, man muss es erlebt haben

It it is a beautiful view. Thank you for sharing this. It does seem hard that a 10-second video would be too large to upload. I’m trying to remember if in the old connect you could add a picture and make it a link. I don’t think so and so you may have discovered something new. It’s great to see how far you’ve come to be comfortable posting in connect.

Congratulations on your 6 years as a local guide!
Regarding photos and captions, after you add a photo, if you turn on preview (the icon is below the text box) , it will show you the photo. If you scroll down to the bottom of the photo you’ll see a pencil icon where you can add your caption (it defaults to the name of the file) and you can also select what size you want to make it. It’s probably worthwhile for one of us to make a screen recording of this. I will try and get to it but probably someone will beat me to it. Again congratulations on your time as a local guide!

Esta versión de Connect permite subir video de hasta 8MB directamente, pero si son mas grandes ya no se pueden cargar. Yo uso iPhone y todos mis videos del teléfono de mas de 3 segundos son mas grandes que ese límite.
Por esa razón los subo a Youtube y puedo pegar directamente el link en mi publicación. También pueden publicarse links de Vimeo y un amigo de Argentina me dijo que también se pegan directamente links de TikTok.
Yo no he intentado esa ultima opción porque no uso mucho esa red social pero he visto publicaciones de @LaloPadilla de videos mas largos que publica directamente en su post. Él usa Android y quizá pueda darnos mas tips 
Por otro lado, el antiguo Connect si te permitía agregar links a una fotografía y esta versión también te permite hacerlo.

Esos 10 segundos bastan para regalarnos un momento de calma y tranquilidad a los espectadores.
Tip: Aunque nos dices que es un lugar en el norte de Alemania es muy importante que en todas tus publicaciones agregues una referencia a Google Maps para evitar que la publicación pueda considerarse off-topic, pero sobre todo para dar una referencia mas clara a tus lectores. Puedes indicar por ejemplo en que región o provincia se encuentra este playa o lago y en el nombre agregar el link de la ubicación de Google Maps, que convertirá al nombre del lugar en un hiperlink.
Mientras tanto, para mantener organizado del foro, moveré tu publicación a la etiqueta “Naturaleza” dentro de la categoría “Historias de Contribuciones de Google Maps”.

I could never figure out how to add a link to a photo in old connect. Regarding video file size, I just did 3 versions of a 9 second video at three different resolutions

|720p | 9.5 MB
|480p | 3.9 MB
Ich habe nachgeschaut und das Video hat 27 MB @Rednewt74
Haz una prueba para cual de esos tres videos se carga en el foro y nos avisas del resultado @Rednewt74.
Pero si tienes que reducir la calidad creo que resulta mejor si los subes a YouTube y agregas el link. En realidad es muy rápida la carga.
