Ein Avdat National Park is an amazing place. It is one of Israel’s most beautiful natural sites. This Park is situated in a spectacular canyon in the Negev desert at southern part of Israel.
There is a hiking trail along the canyon. People can walk along the beautiful stream and enjoy the picturesque views of nature.
The hike is mostly easy but sometimes there’s a need to climb the steps and ladders when the trail is going up. There, the Ein Avdat Spring flows down in a waterfall towards an 8-meter deep pool of water.
I included this place in my “The Best Places to visit in Israel” list on Google maps. If someone is going to visit Israel, please use this list for planning your trip.
Wow this place looks unreal! I would love to visit this place. How do I get there the easiest? Are there guided tours or I can walk freely and explore the park? How can you get down where the people are? Do I need any specific clothing?
Thanks so much for sharing, your photos are amazing!
Thank you for your interest in this place. I’l bet you will enjoy there.
The easiest way to get to this place is by a car. You just type “Ein Avdat National Park” in Google Maps, Waze or Maps.me and go to the place.
You don’t need a guided tour there. You need to pay an entry fee and you are inside. You go along the stream until you come to the waterfall. This is the place what you can see on both pictures. After that you can go up toward the exit or to return to entry gate. It is up to you.
I would not recommend to go here during the summer - from July to September because it may be extremely hot here.
