Since the past week my edits have been pending. This one has not been approved. Is anyone having any trouble with edits?

In my experience the approval rate of suggested edits varies a lot over months. Some weeks or months my approval rate is 80-90 percent and suddenly it drops to 10-15 percent. I try hard to figure out possible reasons, but I don’t get it. It feels like there is a master volume button on the AI filter for suggested edits. Sometimes a Googler decides to crank it up. I’m just speculating here.

Looking at your screenshot:
We should never add the shopping center name in the name field.
The address is not really specific enough.
You should check if the shopping center has an indoor Google map. If so you might not be able to add new businesses. Reach out to the mall and suggest they add the new store.
even screw it up: No means Yes 
As you can see from the screenshot I changed the name of the supermarket but it was rejected. Someone else changed the name using Capital letters and it got approved

Hi @waza28 I waited 3 months for a regulation regarding business hours for a government-owned place to be completed and it was not accepted.
My request to edit the phone number of a government institution that did not have a phone number added was not accepted within a day or two.
The place you propose to edit must not be government-owned.
When I added the sign and photo of the children’s park that I had previously added to the maps, it was accepted. If you had added the photo of the supermarket, it would have had a better chance of being accepted.
The answer given by a Platinum Product Specialist to a user may be useful to you.
I have over 100 places added maybe the number might be more if most of them were not rejected.
A few years ago I would add the new place with a photo it would be accepted. Then I noticed with a photo attached it wouldn’t accept it. So I stopped added photos it got approved immediately.
No when I add a place no photos its pending for more than a week.
Yesterday a popular store in a big shopping mall got rejected. I have no idea why. I am entering everything the same.
I just wish that Google could let me know what is the reason for rejection so I dont see negative in my score.
