Edits not shown under Your Contributions

On the Your Contributions page, the Edits are not shown. All other tabs contain the correct data (pictures - including the views that went missing for a while, reviews, Q&A), but the Edits one is just empty. New edits I make are still being approved (notification on phone + email), but not listed - see screenshot.

@GeorgesHR tagging you as requested.

Hey @JanVanHaver ,

Thanks for reaching out.

Did you already try to go the usual troubleshooting steps? Clear cache, relog, etc?

edit: @JanVanHaver please let me know if this is valid for Google Maps Mobile too?

The situation is the same on Android and desktop, so it’s probably not cache related. Well, in fact not 100% the same, as on Android it still shows some suggested labels for pictures, but also none of the edits @GeorgesHR

Interesting, thanks for letting us know @JanVanHaver . Please allow us some time to take a look into this.

That’s weird @JanVanHaver , @GeorgesHR

FYI, My edits are visible

Some extra background @GeorgesHR : it started a couple of days before the big photo view issue, so I figured it would all get sorted all by itself after a couple of days - but it did not.

I have experienced the same problem a month or so ago, but then the “wait a bit until it autorepairs”-strategy worked within 24 hours or so. Now it seems to persist more than 10 days already.

Are you seeing points allocated for those missing edits @JanVanHaver ?

Yes, @AdamGT , the points are still there, and new ones are added for new edits.

Without points for edits, I would drop to level 3 or so

Hello @JanVanHaver

It is more than one and half year that I have this problem about edit’s list (and near one year for check the facts) and dear @GeorgesHR is aware already. But still no fix although I asked time by time (here).

Because this is a system issue that can not handle large numbers of contributions for edits and check the facts so needs a Google Maps system upgrade by engineers and for 1 user it doesn’t cost an upgrade!

I know some other users like @SamanS faced this problem (here) too and hope by increasing number of users who’re experiencing this problem Google thinks to a solution for this issue.

That indeed seems to be the same underlying issue @Amiran . Thanks for sharing this info.

Hi @JanVanHaver

I face the same issue exactly as you described .

Waiting for any response.

Best regards
