After the new layout arrived I can’t see edits made right away in the list of my edits. In the old layout they always showed up no later than 1 minut after making them.
Is something wrong or did I do something wrong?

Today is February 13 and the top of my list of edits shows that my latest edit was on February 11. I made at least 20 edits since February 11. And they are missing on the list.

Now I noticed that edits might be shown for a very short time on the list after the edit was done. Just to dissappear when opening Your Edits a few seconds later.
To me it looks like a bug.
@MortenCopenhagen many of us don’t yet have the new layout. I don’t have it, so I can’t say for sure if this affects others. Am not sure how many already received the new layout either.

Hi @MortenCopenhagen , tested now an edit, and it was shown instantly under the “edits” tab. However, I had noticed some bugs in the edition released on February 4th. Once they reverted the new layout to the previous version on February, 10th, I understand that they are fixing some bugs, before launch it again.

on desktop they disappear less then a min after editing… even if you refresh it does not show a edit

Yes, I can see the new UI on my phone.
Incidentally, I can roll back the UI to default factory version on an old phone. I made a comparison of the previous & new menus in this post yesterday, taking advantage of that.
@C_T I mean about the issue edits are not being recorded on the new UI… are you seeing this?
For the past two years I can’t see any edits on my profile @StephenAbraham .
Though I get emails and notifications, the edits tab on my profile remains blank.
Further, I encountered this phenomenon of “Edits not getting recorded” at several instances in the past year.
A sure sign of that is the absence of email. Else, when an edit is recorded, an email arrives within five minutes max.
When that happens, I give up attempts to any further edits on that day.
Thus, as per my experience, the bug is there for several days.
The app is now also for me switched to the new layout, and I cannot access the overviews of reviews, pics and edits at all. When I click those boxes, there is a blue rectangle for a moment (highlighting the fact that I clicked the button) but nothing happens.
When making edits, I get the splash screen, but no notification of email.
I shifted to new interface now and I never faced this issue on my side
on desktop you have not had any issues?

I just checked on Desktop. This error is not only in the Android app as far as I can tell. My list of edits on Desktop is missing exactly the same recent edits.

I have been having the similar problem from yesterday. During edit a place I get a pop-up message about my contribution and afterward nothing happens. I can’t see my new edits on my list and I do not receive mails about my contribution as it always had been happened before.
When I check edited places I can’t see any changes either.
In the evening it was in old maps interface, but today the same thing happes in the new layout.

My interface has been updated last night, and a bit downgraded this morning.
Honestly I didn’t had time to make an edit, BTW the list of my edits is visible without any issue.
My opinion? It is too early to write an opinion. Honestly I believe that we should wait a bit, to make sure that everything is rolled out and stable. I see a lot of post of people that is writing too early, trying to be the first to write and showing expertise. I would like to practice a bit first, to be sure that I understand all the changes, before to give an opinion.
Of course, if someone have an issue, he should report it, but in the past I have seen so many early report abut some changes, that I prefer to be a bit rational, and wait
I think we are getting two different (potential) bugs mixed up in one thread.

Update: confirmation mails for edits do come in, but in some cases hours later. Tagging @sonnyNg to make sure the Moderators team is aware of the issues.
I agree with @ErmesT that we have to wait for everything to work out in Maps with the new interface.
Among other things, a couple of days ago I noticed another small bug: for each country searched in Maps there was the icon with the forecast of the local weather which always marked a temperature of -25 degrees centigrade (whether it concerned Miami than Rome):
