Please anyone give me an answer.
My edits are not accepting.i tried many edits in the Google maps recently but none of it is accepting.when I give edit to a place like change in name or something,and submit it.And I look for its current status in the edits section of my account,it says that it is not accepted.That too in an instant.i gave genuine edits with photo proof, but that is not accepting.
Can I know the reason.

Hi,I go through your podcast and it’s very useful.
But in my case,when I submitted a edit,on that instant I go to my profile and check it’s status,it is showing that it is not accepted.it is okay to understand that my edits are rejected due to various reasons but why my edits are rejected on the same time I submitted the edit.it is okay to be rejected after a particular time as no one confirm it or any other reason.what is the logic on rejected on the same instant when I submitted.
Earlier when I submitted edits,it shows pending for some times and some are approved and some are rejected and some are still pending.but recent scenario didn’t explain any sense to me.
Immediate denials are made by the spam filter for edits.
The filter for some reason does not allow you to make edits. This can be because you made bad edits in the past. Or maybe you violated some other guidelines.
Are you able to ad photos? Are you able to post reviews and do they go public? If not are you able to made ratings that go public?
Please share the details about 1 or 2 edits that you can not get approved.

I can add photos,write reviews etc… there is no problem with those things.
In case of spam filter for edits, I don’t even submit that much edits. My total edits are 5.i don’t know about much.

It is a bank in Kozhikode city in kerala.In Google maps it’s name is corporation bank.that is old name of that bank.In 2019,the corporation Bank get merged with union bank of India.so the current name of this bank is union bank of India.i edit the name of this bank to union bank of India and I aslo post a recent picture that of the bank which shows the correct name.but my submission rejected.

In this location Google maps show that there is a bank,but there is no bank at all.and there is also reviews from others saying that there is no bank.i submitted a edit that there is no such bank in there.again my submission rejected.

It is not unusual that new Local Guides have some limits to what they can get approved. But in your case there is another explanation.
Making edits to Banks, ATM, hospitals and locksmiths have been made impossible for most Maps users. So I would never waste time on trying to make edits to such places. I know from experience that they will not be approved so why even try?

Oh I got it.thank you for your advices and explanation.i think my problem is that you said,that bank are hard to edit and I’m a new local guide.i also feel that because my other edits which were approved were none of you said in your post.
There is also one more problem,the edit of approving phone numbers are pending for long time.I have a edit in which a name change and addition of mobile number was edited and submitted.name change was approved easily and the edit of phone number is still pending after several months.

When a business owner wants to claim and verify his ownership over a pin on Maps the phone number can be used. So if it was easy to change phone number it would also ge easy to highjack pins.
In many areas Mobile numbers can be hard to add. Mostly because they might not be registered to the same address as the pin. You can always pre-verify phone numbers by looking them up in an online phone directory. If there is no name and address match it is not even worth trying to make a the edit. If the phone number is listed in the website of the place it helps a lot.
